Safety Philosophy

For over 30 years, Belfast Valley Contractors has established a company-wide policy of setting and maintaining the highest possible safety standards in the commercial concrete industry. This objective not only keeps our employees safe, but ensures our customers that their projects will be completed in an environment focused on excellence in safety.

BVC is committed to provide a safe and healthy workplace and job sites where we work everyday. We believe that all accidents and on the job injuries are preventable, and our goal is “zero accidents, zero injuries”.

BVC continues our commitment to safety education through the wide range of safety training and compliance programs we offer our labor force, management team and
staff on a regular basis.

BVC is dedicated to our adopted safety policies, procedures and programs so that that we can strive to protect our employees and our jobsites, no matter what the cost.

CCP / M.O.S.H. Program

The Cooperative Compliance Partnership (CCP) is a new way for employers in the State of Maryland and Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (M.O.S.H.) to partner together, outside the scope of traditional compliance enforcement, to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for the workers in Maryland. As proof of our dedication to safety, Belfast Valley Contractors is currently involved in a Cooperative Compliance Partnership, otherwise known as a CCP, with Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (M.O.S.H.). The CCP is a new way for Belfast Valley and M.O.S.H. to partner together, outside the traditional scope of compliance enforcement, to ensure safe, healthy working conditions for all Belfast Valley employees. Together, we work to raise the standard of safety both at Belfast Valley Contractors, Inc. and in the state of Maryland.
